SEU Women’s Tennis Concludes Regular Season with win at Webber

BABSON PARK, Fla.—Southeastern clinched the No. 3 seed in The Sun Conference Tournament with a 7-2 at Webber International in its regular season finale.
Wins at #1 and #3 Doubles got the Fire off to a good start, with a 2-1 lead heading to singles play. The Fire are now 14-5 this season at both #1 and #3 Doubles.
Sharienne Ricardo cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win at Line 1, and Mia Dunagan at the bottom of the lineup coasted to a shutout straight sets win.
Beatrice Letizia improved to 6-1 in Sun Conference singles matches with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 2 Singles.
Angelique Myrtil held off a strong first set from her opponent at No. 3 singles, winning the first set 7-5 before a 6-0 win in the second.
The Fire will face SCAD Savannah in the semifinal round of the conference tournament in Brunswick, Ga. on April 25.
