COLUMBIA, Ky. — Southeastern University sophomore safety James Swain has been named the Mid-South Conference Sun Division Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

This past Saturday, the St. Petersburg native recorded a pair of interceptions, including one in the fourth quarter that ended Faulkner’s comeback attempt and sealed SEU’s 49-35 win. Swain was also the top tackler on the team with eight.

The Fire are currently 5-1 and will host Webber International on Saturday.
