Taylor Launches Food and Toiletry Drive for Hurricane Victims

 

UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor University Athletics Department will be collecting non-perishable food and toiletry items at every home football, soccer and volleyball contest during the remainder of September for families impacted by recent hurricanes.

 

Anyone wanting to donate items will be able to drop off canned and other non-perishable food items, as well as toiletries during any of Taylor’s remaining nine varsity home events from September 9 through 30 for the sports of football, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball. Containers will be available at the entrances of Turner Stadium and Odle Arena during those contests.

 

All items collected by Taylor during the month of September will be donated to local charities assisting with the hurricane relief efforts.

September 15, Men’s Soccer at 7:00 pm

September 16, Women’s Soccer at 1:00 pm

September 23, Football at 7:00 pm

September 27, Volleyball at 7:00 pm
